Educational Partners»

The Virtual Enterprise program would not be experiencing the great success it has without the support of our educational partners. As institutions of higher education (like Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, CA) continue to join the network, students will be given the opportunity to continue their VE experience. In addition, our educational partners including California Department of Education, Kern County Superintendent of Schools, PartnershipsPlus School-to-Career Consortium, the Kern South Tulare Tech Prep Consortium, the Business Education Project, and Junior Achievement, have provided much assistance in curriculum development, and financial support. Please follow the links below to find out why our educational partners have been instrumental in the success of this program.

Corporate Partners»

The following businesses have been instrumental in assisting us in the development, implementation, and ongoing support of the Virtual Enterprise program. Support from these community leaders include assistance in the form of curriculum development, student and teacher workshops, student scholarships, mentoring, internships, externships, and financial support. Please feel free to contact Nancy Phillips, the California Virtual Enterprise Coordinator (or the nearest virtual enterprise) at nphillips@khsd.k12.ca.us to join this rapidly growing list of corporate partners.

We would also like to thank: Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce, Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, San Joaquin Bank, and Union Bank of California.
